This is the story of the past, present and future of Trinity’s stained-glass.
Among key features of Trinity’s church architecture are its stained-glass windows, installed in 1903. Countless worship services, baptisms, confirmations, weddings, and funerals have been spiritually lifted by light flowing through these works of art.
Now, more than a century later, these classic windows are seriously in need of repair.
While funding has been secured for three windows, restoration of at least nine additional windows needs to be funded.
Information about Gaytee-Palmer Stained Glass’ can be found here: https://gaytee-palmerstainedglass.com/.
Thomas Gaytee studied stained glass in New York under Louis Comfort Tiffany (yes, that Tiffany), and moved to Minneapolis and opened a studio in 1918. Known for designing many significant stained glass placements, the firm later merged with Palmer Stained Glass. They design new windows, and provide repair and restoration services.
